Our Story
Our journey began when we recognized a need for a comprehensive, welcoming, and easy-to-navigate resource for homeschool families. We knew that deciding to homeschool could be a daunting prospect for many families, and even a challenging journey for others. With this in mind, we founded Homeschool Head Start – a place where parents can find valuable resources, children can discover engaging educational materials, and families can acquire the tools they need to thrive on their homeschooling journey.
Our Mission
Our mission at Homeschool Head Start is to make a difference in the lives of homeschool families around the world. We aim to provide 250,000 families with the tools they need for joy, peace, and success in their homeschooling journey. This includes a wide range of resources, from practical downloadable worksheets and educational materials, to tips on time management and emotional support.
We cover an array of topics, from finance, technology, and design, to emotional intelligence, career planning, entrepreneurship, and more. We believe in nurturing a well-rounded education, one that doesn’t just cover academic subjects, but also develops essential life skills and attitudes.
We’re here to support every member of the family, not just the homeschooling parent or child. Our content caters to moms, dads, and children alike, recognising that everyone has a role to play in this journey. Whether it’s finding activities for dads to bond with their children after work or on weekends, or providing moms with effective homeschooling strategies and emotional support, we’ve got it covered.
